“Boo” Drop Diffuser Tutorial!

Hello there!

So, I woke up this morning to a message from my sweet friend Andi telling me that I was famous. I rubbed the sleep from my eyes, grabbed my phone and saw this!

Young Living, my beloved Essential Oil company, had re-blogged my Halloween decorated diffuser! So awesome!

I had quite a few people ask HOW I did it, so I want to share with you all, since it was the easiest thing ever. Literally took me about three minutes. Busy Mom crafts FTW!

Here’s the scoop:

The only two specialty items are the Dew Drop Diffuser and the black masking tape!

  1. Dew Drop Diffusers can be purchased in your Virtual Office if you’re already a Member, or if you’re not signed up, you can snag one in a Premium Starter Kit HERE with me!
  2. 1″ Black Masking tape can be found HERE on Amazon.

Directions:

  1. Cut fun pumpkin-face shapes out of tape.
  2. Stick on Dew Drop Cover.
  3. That’s it! It’s super easy and kiddos can help, too!
  4. The tape peels off really easily when Halloween is over. BAM. Winning at LIFE!

Fun Ideas:

  • Do two faces, one on the front side and one on the back side for variety!
  • You could get silly and make a FRANKenstein (see what I did there? Heh!) face with a scar and bolts.
  • Make a ghostie!
  • Earn ultimate Badass points and make the Mayor from Nightmare Before Christmas!

Super Easy, Super Tasty, Super Quick DIY Croutons

Salad LIIIIIIIFFFEEEE, right?

Make your bunny food (that’s what the boys call it) a little more exciting with these super easy, super thrifty, Vitality oil infused croutons.

I’ll cut to the chase since I hate it when food bloggers give me a five paragraph song-and-dance about how their kid tripped at school and their dog farted and how the recipe was inspired by the way the sunlight hit their vintage counter tops and so on. Literally, I need no food foreplay. I’m already warmed up and ready to go. Show me how to make the damn food so I can eat. LET ME EAAAATTTT. ย Feed me, please.

You’ll need:

  • 4-5 slices of stale bread. (Whatever kind you have works, as long as it isn’t something freaky like cinnamon raisin)
  • Vitality oil of your choice (See notes for ideas)
  • 1/2 cup of olive oil
  • salt & pepper

Directions:

  1. Cut bread into 1/2-1″ cubes.
  2. Spread cubes on a cookie sheet and let them dry out for a few hours. (I forgot about mine and they stayed out over-night and we’re fine. You do you.)
  3. When ready, pre-heat over to 350*.
  4. In a measuring cup, add the 1/2 cup olive oil and Vitality oils of choice (I did about 4 drops total in my first batch.)
  5. Drizzle oil over cubed bread, stirring to coat.
  6. Sprinkle a pinch of salt and a few grind of black pepper over the bread cubes, toss again and try a few to check for saltiness. I like my croutons salty AF, so I did a couple of pinches.
  7. Put baking sheet in over for 5-12 minutes, depending on how toasted and crunchy you like your croutons.
  8. Remove from oven and let them cool for a bit and eat that salad, foo. (Bunny foo foo)
  9. Once completely cool, put into a large ziptop bag to store. They lasted for about a week over here!

NOTES //

  • I chose to use one drop of each Basil Vitality, Thyme Vitality, Rosemary Vitality and Oregano Vitality. You can mix it up with whatever Vitality oil(s) sound good or go with your meal.
  • You can add garlic &/or onion powder to the olive oil to add an (easy) extra layer of flavor.
  • You can experiment with the fat used in this recipe! Try melted butter or coconut oil or even bacon grease for a fun flavor swap!
  • You can also experiment with the type of bread used for different flavors! Try wheat, white, sourdough, french, rye..
  • Lessen the salt and sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese the last few minutes of baking. (I’m jealous, I can’t eat cheese. Eat all the cheese for me!)
  • For a dairy-free cheesy flavor, sprinkle with some nutritional yeast! (You can get this on Amazon, or at Trader Joes or the like.)Flavor Combos:
  • Lemon Rosemary: 3 drops lemon + 1 drop rosemary
  • Italian: 1 drop Basil + 1 Thyme + 1 Oregano + 1 Rosemary (optional garlic powder)
  • Greek: 1 drop Thyme + 1 Oregano + 1 dill + basil + 1 toothpick swirl Black Pepper (optional onion powder)
  • Pickle: 3 drops Dill + 1 Lemon (optional garlic powder)
  • Spring Flavor: 1 drop Fennel + 2 Lemon + 1 Orange
  • Summer Flavor: 2 drops Lemon + 1 drop basil (optional garlic powder)
  • Fall Flavor: 1 drop Sage + 1 drop Thyme + 1 drop Rosemary (use butter with baby)
  • Winter Flavor: 1 drop Tarragon + 1 Oregano + 1-2 toothpick drops Laurus Nobilis (use a rustic bread!)
